Access Music employs experienced music teachers who work to positively reinforce students, offering professional feedback on students performance & learning.  All our teachers must have a current “Working with Children Check”.

Access Music provides group lessons for guitar or keyboard. Students (5 years to adult) can develop basic music skills in a fun cost-effective environment. These compatible group lessons provide a solid & economical learning base to progress to individual lessons. With 30 min lessons run to the school term, students can progress at their own pace. Our studios provide the facilities for students to acquire the founding skills to master instruments in a fun learning atmosphere.  Classes are limited to 7 students which enables the teacher to meet the needs of each student in a professional manner.

Access Music holds bi-annual in-house concerts for students to showcase their newly learned skills to family and friends. Students of all ages, styles and levels are encouraged to participate.

Access Music provides Individual lessons to give students of all levels & ages the opportunity to develop musical skills to any level in a one-on-one structured environment.  With individually tailored programmes, students can reach their desired expectations with support, hard work, and professional tuition.

With Access Music, Students learn to express their feelings, ideas, and creations in a personal manner and to communicate in a non verbal way enabling them to express their own identities through music.

Programmes are run to the school term in 30 min sessions.  By sitting examinations, students can work towards qualifications in AMEB, AGMS and various other examination bodies.

Parents and Guardians are encouraged to talk directly to the teachers regarding the development and progress of students. Concerns or questions can also be raised to any of our team members of Access Music.

Mini Musos

Access Music provides an ideal and fun introduction to music for 3-5 year olds. Run to the school term, the 30 min classes absorb the children in learning short tunes on ukuleles and keyboards, along with other percussion instruments and singing. Students gain skills in keyboard, rhythm, guitar techniques, performance and general music appreciation in a fun learning environment. Mini Muso’s gives your children a good stepping stone, enabling them to progress from group lessons to individual lessons for higher learning.

Parents/guardians are required to attend classes, and they play an important role in encouraging and helping students during class and at home.

Activities such as singing playing the ukulele, keyboard & percussion, encourages the development of fine motor skills, and is a great brain activity for children.

Did you know?

Learning the art of Music has been proven to increase brain activity in both sides of the brain and therefore encourages creativity in the student.

At Access Music, students learn to use elements of music such as duration, pitch, texture and tempo. Working with these elements requires the students to use skills in listening, singing, playing, improvising, composing, interpretation, motor skills, arranging, and the use of new technologies.
